An unencrypted e-mail sent over the Internet is inherently insecure since it is transmitted in clear text format.
If you are concerned about e-mail security, Misakko offers you the option of sending PGP encrypted emails to us and we will reply your email using PGP encryption.

Chat security |
All chat sessions with Misakko are encrypted with a 128 bit encryption key offered by the industry’s leading SSL provider. |

Data security |
Under the normal circumstances, Misakko will only perform custom development and will not see your production data.
If Misakko needs to perform production data import services, we encourage you to encrypt your data before it is transmitted to us. We will perform the data import to your production web site and permanently delete the data at your request after the task is completed. |

Password security |
Any server passwords you sent to us should be transmitted either via an encrypted email using PGP or via our secure online chat.
Once your project goes live, you should change your server password, hosting panel password (if shared hosting), storefront admin password, database connection password.
If you are our site maintenance client and we have your production environment passwords, these passwords are securely stored in Password Safe software in an encrypted folder. |
